Thailand’s lube demand fell to a four-month low in April as a slump in engine oils consumption compounded shrinking industrial oils demand.Total lube demand of 32,370 kilolitres (25,110t) in April fell from a one-year high of 48,390kl the previous month, government data showed.Demand fell by 22pc from year-earlier levels and for the seventh time in eight months.Passenger-car motor oil (PCMO) consumption had curbed the pace of the drop in Thailand’s total lube demand in recent months.That support reversed in April, with PCMO demand sliding by 18pc from a year earlier.
