Thailand’s lubricating oil demand fell in June for the ninth time in ten months as a slowdown in consumption extended to engine oils.Total lube consumption of 32,830 kilolitres (29,080t) in June fell from 37,500kl the previous month and by 28pc from year-earlier levels, government data showed.The speed of the fall in demand was the largest in more than a decade.Consumption of heavy-duty engine oils fell by more than 20pc in June for a third month.Demand for passenger-car motor oils (PCMO) fell by 7pc and for a third straight month.
