Singapore’s base oils exports recovered to more typical levels in the past week, with a rise in flows to Indonesia countering an ongoing slowdown in shipments to China.Base oils exports of close to 35,000t in the week to August 2 rose from around 24,000t the previous week, Enterprise Singapore data showed.The volume was closer to typical levels of around 38,000 t/week so far this year.The steadier volumes masked a change in trade flows.Exports of more than 43,000t to Indonesia in the past four weeks were the highest four-week volume in years.Exports of close to 24,000t to China in the past four weeks extended a slowdown since end-June.The lower volume was down from average four-week levels of more than 42,000t since the start of the year..Singapore’s June base oils exports rise
