India’s base oils supply rose to a four-month high in July as a rise in imports countered a drop in domestic output.Base oils output of 120,000t in July fell from 133,000t the previous month, government data showed.Output still rose for a ninth month from year-earlier levels, lifting total base oils production to 989,000t in the first seven months of the year.The volume rose by 40pc from 708,000t during the same period last year to a record high. The higher production levels outpaced the rise in India’s total oil products output this year.
