Turkey’s Group I base oils imports fell to a seven-month low in June amid a slump in shipments from Greece and Italy.Total imports of 21,630t in June fell from 31,200t the previous month and by 4pc from year-earlier-levels, government data showed.Imports of 174,840t in the first half of the year were still up 13pc from 154,480t during the same period last year.Higher imports balanced out lower domestic base oils output so far this year, leaving total Group I supplies relatively steady.Imports of 7,900t from Italy in June were the lowest in five months.
