In Brief: Netherlands’ Jan base oil output rises

The Netherlands’ base oils and lube output stayed high in January at a time when demand in Europe was unusually weak.

Output of 90,000t in January rose from 82,000t the previous month, government data showed.

Output held at more than 81,000 t/month every month since last July, up from average levels of less than 65,000 t/month in first-half 2022.
