The delivery of premium-grade base oils from the UAE to key global markets rose to a four-month high in May amid a surge in shipments to China.The key markets of the US, Europe and Asia took delivery of more than 51,000t from the UAE in May, government and customs data showed.The volume was up from around 33,500t in April and well above typical levels of less than 38,000 t/month over the past year.The US was the largest outlet, with imports of more than 14,400t reaching the country in May.The volume of shipments moving to China was only slightly lower at close to 14,200t.
