The delivery of premium-grade base oils from Bahrain, Qatar and UAE to key global outlets rose to a three-month high in August at a time of year when demand is usually more muted.The US, Europe and Asia took delivery of more than 265,000t of base oils in August from the three Mideast Gulf countries combined, government and customs data showed.The volume rose from and balanced out a drop in shipments to less than 165,000t in July.The rise in shipments mostly reflected a rebound in supplies to Europe to more than 75,000t in August, from less than 15,000t the previous month.Supplies bound for Asia rose to more than 120,000t in August from less than 85,000t in July.US imports from the three countries were steady at around 65,000t.Asia remained the largest destination for Group III supplies from the Mideast Gulf in the first eight months of the year, followed by the US. .Global Aug imports from Bahrain steady
