Base oils shipments from the Saudi Arabian ports of Yanbu and Jeddah held firm in March on the back of a rebound in supplies from Jeddah.
Base oils shipments from the two ports combined held at more than 50,000t in March for a second month, shipping data showed.
Shipments had previously fallen below 50,000 t/month in four of the five months to January.
The stronger February volumes got a boost from unusually large shipments from Yanbu.
The firm March volumes got a boost from a rise in shipments from Jeddah to the highest in at least a year.
