Europe’s base oils exports to North African markets fell in March amid a dip in shipments to Egypt.A pick-up in flows to other outlets like Morocco and Tunisia cushioned the slowdown.Total exports of more than 24,500t to North Africa in March fell from close to 30,000t the previous month, government data showed.Exports to the region had averaged close to 28,000 t/month over the past year.Exports fell because of a slump in shipments from Italy. Its shipments fell to a 34-month low of little more than 8,000t.Its drop in supplies had the biggest impact on supplies to Egypt.
