US blender Pennzoil-Quaker State was the US’ largest base oils importer for a second month in May, with SK Enmove Americas the second largest.Pennzoil’s base oils imports accounted for just below 30pc of total US imports in May, EIA data showed.The share was down from more than 30pc in April but still much higher than usual amid a sustained flow of shipments from the Mideast Gulf.US base oils imports fell back to 1.49mn bl (210,000t) in May, from 1.63mn bl the previous month.SK Enmove Americas’ share of base oils imports rebounded to around 26pc of the total in May.
