Thailand IRPC’s June base oils output rises

Thai refiner IRPC’s base oils output edged up to a five-month high in June ahead of a seasonal slowdown in regional demand.

The unit’s base oils output of close to 31,800 kilolitres (28,170t) in June rose from around 28,000kl the previous month, government data showed.

The volume was slightly higher than typical output of around 30,550 kl/month during the previous six months.

The higher output contrasted with a fall in IRPC’s base oils exports to a three-month low in June.
