Thailand’s Feb base oils imports rise

Thailand’s base oils imports rose to a three-month high in February as supplies from South Korea rebounded.

Imports of 29,540 kilolitres (26,160t) in February recovered from a ten-month low of 21,280kl the previous month, government data showed.

Imports rose on the back of a recovery in shipments from South Korea to 19,050kl, up from little more than 6,000kl the previous month.

Shell Company of Thailand was Thailand’s largest importer in February, Chevron Thailand was the second largest and PSP Specialties the third largest.
