Spore’s base oils exports to India rise

Singapore’s weekly base oils exports to India surged over the past week to the highest in eight months, adding to a recent rebound in shipments to the country.

Base oils exports to India rose to more than 17,000t over the past week, according to Enterprise Singapore.

The rise in shipments lifted total exports to India to around 36,000t over the past four weeks. The volume was the highest in more than a year.

The rise in shipments coincided with a slowdown in Singapore's base oils exports to China during the same four-week period.
