Spore’s 4-week base oils exports to SE Asia rise

Singapore’s base oils exports to Indonesia rose over the past four weeks to the highest in a month, sustaining shipments to southeast Asia at high levels.

Exports of more than 32,200t to Indonesia over the last four weeks were the highest since mid-March, government data showed.

The shipments boosted total exports to southeast Asia to more than 66,000t over the last four weeks.

Exports to the region dipped at the start of the year before reviving at end-February.

The steady and rising flows contrasted with lower and more volatile shipments to China.
