China March Grp II base oil output rises

China’s Group II base oils output rose to a seven-month high in March but remained much lower than year-earlier levels.

Output of more than 245,000t in March rose from less than 210,000t the previous month, OilChem China data showed.

The February volume had been the lowest in more than two years.

The March volume was the highest since last August. It was still down around 30pc from year-earlier levels.
