Malaysia’s Pentas Flora said it signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shell Malaysia Trading for circular waste management.

“Our partnership with Shell Lubricants Solutions marks a significant step towards fostering a circular economy,” Pentas Flora said in a statement.

“This strategic collaboration solidifies our role as a distinguished scheduled waste management contractor and re-refined base oil manufacturer in Malaysia,” it said.

Malaysia-based Pentas Flora specializes in used-oil waste management services, including production of re-refined base oils.

Pentas Flora last month signed an MoU with Petronas Lubricants International to explore opportunities in the re-refined base oils production industry.
