MAK and Mangalam Sign MoU On Used Lubricants Recycling In India

MAK Lubricants and Mangalam Lubricants Pvt. Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration in strengthening India's Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) ecosystem for Used Lubricating Oil.

The partnership will focus on the responsible collection, aggregation, re-refining, and utilization of Used Lubricating Oil, supporting the production of high-quality Re-Refined Base Oil (RRBO) and a more circular, resource-efficient lubricant value chain. It will also explore opportunities to enhance EPR compliance and advance re-refining technologies.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, resource conservation, and responsible lubricant lifecycle management, while contributing to India's circular economy ambitions.
