ICONIC, Brazil’s largest lube supplier and a major base oils distributor, announced that it was now the official distributor of Nynas’ naphthenic oils in Brazil.

“At ICONIC, we are constantly seeking to strengthen our portfolio with innovative solutions and strategic partnerships that add value to the market,” ICONIC Chief Executive Officer Alexandre Bassaneze said in a statement on LinkedIn.

“The officialization of ICONIC as the official distributor of Nynas AB in Brazil is an important step in this journey, further expanding our offering of premium products.”

ICONIC is the official distributor of Chevron's Group II base oils in Brazil.

Its lubricants unit accounted for almost a quarter of Brazil’s lube sales in 2024.

Nynas is Europe’s largest naphthenic base oils producer.
