ICONIC Brazil’s largest lube supplier in March

ICONIC Lubricants was Brazil’s largest lubricants supplier in March as its share of the domestic market rebounded from its lowest in more than four years the previous month.

Brazil’s lubricating oil consumption of 109,020mᶟ (96,570t) in March rose to a one-year high amid a seasonal pick-up in demand.

ICONIC accounted for almost 26pc of that volume, according to IBP. The share rose from less than 22pc in February to a six-month high.

Vibra Energia was Brazil’s second-largest lube supplier in March with a share of more than 21pc of the total. It had been the third-largest supplier in January and February.

Moove was the country’s third-largest supplier in March with a share of little more than 20pc of the total. The lubricants producer and distributor had been Brazil’s largest supplier in February.
