Singapore’s base oils exports stayed lower than usual over the past week even as they rose from the previous week.The sustained slowdown in shipments since second-half October cut total exports over the past four weeks to a three-month low.Base oils exports came to close to 34,000t in the week to November 8, government data showed. The volume rose from less than 15,000t the previous week and less than 25,000t the week before that.Weekly base oils exports averaged close to 39,000t so far this year.Base oils exports of around 128,000t over the past four weeks compared with typical monthly export volumes of more than 170,000t so far this year.The slowdown in shipments to India over the last four weeks was especially steep.
